Hundreds of way to tie a tie

There are about 180 ways to tie a tie. You do not need to learn all of them because you only have one neck. At least learning a few nodes would be good. One of the oldest of the tying style is the knot four in hand arising in 18th century Britain. Nonetheless, tying ties are so easy but needs some practice to perfect and make it look at its best.

Its real ties

All my little plans for the past few weeks kinda faded away after being exposed to men's ties designers. I got so absorbed with their fashion ideas that I had like what people call peak experience. At first I was just concentrating on one design unconscious that I was into it for a few hours. After quite sometime I had this sudden bursting of energy inside me after thinking about that certain tie design for hours. I can't explain the details but what I need to say is that I was seeing vivid images of things around me and was quite fast in finishing my tie design after the experience.

Street Survey: Men's Ties

In a recent street survey, a group of people find it sexy to see a man wearing men's ties compared to a man carrying a bagful of grocery stuffs. It would not be so surprising though but the thing is people are often attracted to self confident fashionable individuals, so there's no room for old fashioned, lame, outdated fashion here. Fashion trends are made to catch the eye of the public so do not hesitate to become one.

It's time to raise the Black tie

With today's exceptionally competitive online and direct marketers, those who are weak are left out and the strong stand out... Their businesses fade into oblivion only existing for only a relatively short period of time. The sad thing about that is they weren't even close to their target market. Some of these companies did not really managed to talk to real people but just merely online insignificant adverts. Along with the company is their products. Most of their companies have very good products. I know a few fashion companies who existed for less than six months and they had very good products on men's fashion and clothing (silk ties, novelty ties, sport shoes, etc.). The time has come to raise the black tie... This type of tie represent a sharp, result oriented marketer that fellow marketers fear because of its incredible marketing skills and abilities. A quick glance of history will help us look at the picture clearer, that black ties were, is and will be worn by people who have extraordinary abilities...

Dadaist Men's Ties

I just recently encountered a fascinating web page about an unorthodox designs of ties. They call it dadaist art ties. A screenprinted microfibre necktie, the french designs are inspired by dadaist art focusing on the treachery of images or more commonly known as adbusting.More particularly, the ties were inspired by the previous work of a French fashion designer named René Magritte. Ties have prints in french which in English translation is: 'This is not a tie'...

Ugly version of Fashion

It's a universal thing, fashion is not only beauty but also ugliness. One side of fashion that has been exposed by many critics but constantly denied by fashion enthusiasts. In one review of 'The Week in style' by GQ, there's been a lot of lapses in terms of public appearance of stars and fashion icons in Hollywood. There's been some really ugly exposure of stars that made people comment bad on such reviews. This is because fine poses only works well if they are prepared other than that, it's going to be ugly, says one commenter. It's not what it seem to be, you know the adult fantasy that everything is beautiful and perfect, you can see these people wearing really old and outdated clothes not to mention really bad neck ties...

Keeping it real

Just came across one article about the style secrets of NYC's most in demand designer... It talked about the details of the designers' lifestyle and it was not surprising that these people were just living normal lives. The key to being creative in fashion and the way to always have new ideas is to stick to what you want, live your ideas and work on your aspirations. Further, they also talked about what men need at home, the fragrance, the haircut, etc. not to mention men's ties...

No wonder why these people are successful and happy in life... They do what they want! nothing more and nothing less...

Look at this couple...

Fashion Manifesto for men

The world of men's fashion is always changing. Bit by bit everything is changed. But when people think about the changes they usually refer to short term, little changes. What I am talking about is something that is big. You see, there's a lot of new styles coming in every season. Every season transition, people are being told what to wear and what's fashionable and trendy or not.

This makes people confused and oftentimes spending tons of money just to update themselves. There's a lot of good services you will find on the internet that actually guides you to the latest trends and most importantly, practical fashion tips. You can even try to change the way you look by shifting to other fashion genre's, etc.

The world as we know it is rapidly chaning - socio-politically, economically and culturally. We are becoming one global family, mixture of influences from other cultures, etc. This would require you to look the best that you can be. In terms of men's ties and fashion, try out other designs from east europe and far east asia. They've got tons of amazing desires waiting for you...

Men's unusual street fashion

There are certain things funny that men do that they are most of the time completely unaware of. I suppose each one of us have had experience laughing at a man we do not know because of a random funny action that he makes for no reason or for some accidental action.

Last week I've seen a bearded man wearing men's ties with a pair of high heel sandals and a baseball cap while riding on a kid's bicycle. He was on his way to the town and was showing off his own brand fashion. Of course, it would not be surprising that people would make fun of him, laugh at him and stare at him for ages. The modern culture is so engrained with linear perspective that anything outside of the line seems hilarious and unacceptable.

Going back, the man I saw was not just alone he was with six other guys who had some really weird fashion styles I should say. A couple of days later, they went back to town again. It was Saturday and there were lots of people in the town. Some of them were big bellied, semi bald guys who wore short Japanese school skirts combined with a pair of hiking shoes, long socks.

As expected, most people laughed, conservatives took it seriously, teens thought they were cool. Because they were getting so much attention from the public. The media came in and asked them a few questions, it turned out that they were having this social experiment. When asked how they felt when people laughed at them, most of them said they were enjoying the fun of startling people to death.

Women from Mars, Men from Venus?

Women are from Mars and men are from Venus in John Gray's book clearly states the differences in both sexes. However there are really empirical facts about the similarities between the two. To some people, it is just a sensationalization of differences between men and women.

Nonetheless, the book attempts to understand things and provide solutions for men and women relationships. When it comes to dressing and fashion, there really are no differences when you take a bisexual man with cross dressing tendencies. He can experiment with men's ties mixed with a short skirt and a crew cut hairstyle. None of those things really matter. The book itself is strictly relating to heterosexual relationships so to speak and many people get offended particularly the gay and lesbian community.

People do what they want to do. If there are slight differences between men and women, it is their personality and cultural influence. I am talking about non-physical differences. "Books like that of John Gray's are although attempting to dig in and supply possible solutions to relationships, is breeding a monoculture", one activist said. However, I like that fact that Gray responded to the bothering issues of his time and tried to help people overcome that issue by writing a book.

Understanding skinny ties

Speaking of men's ties and general fashion, the skinny tie is just a recent innovation. But they have been around as far as I can remember. For the younger generation, skinny tie is as hip as the Oscar and Grammy award winning superstars.

One great thing about skinny ties is they are unique in looks. Compared to the old and traditional necktie, skinny tie are more trendy. However wearing one would be quite challenging. Not only you will have a difference in look but self projection as well. This is mainly because every tie has a personality of their own. That is why it is very important to fit your personality with your tie. Any contrast will produce sublime effects on your social life.

For a moment, a skinny tie can be a little geeky, in another it can be a bit feminine. To reiterate, the most important thing to keep in mind when wearing one is the compatibility complex. Make fit of your tie. If you feel sad, wear a dark colored skinny tie, and vice versa. Further, skinny ties are straightforward in terms of fashion. Some people consider this as out of office fashion as one will look too trendy.

Nevertheless, skinny ties can be of any use as long as one knows how to carry it.

Origins of fashion

In it's origins, the word fashion means to cut or trim. Overtime, the word was associated with design, creating, and innovating clothing. Detaching from the mere need of comfort dressing in the body, fashion now it means the urgent desire to update oneself in the latest trends in clothing and lifestyle.

Historians believe that the first emergence of fashion was in the late fourteenth century. Tailors and designers then were making a lot of new styles of clothing to fir the body's contour in accordance to the newly created designs. The close association of traders in the middle east and some merchants in east and western Europe enabled the tailors of the fortress to gain more knowledge in cutting and tailoring styles.

During the 15th century, trends were said to be slow in pacing. But two centuries later, it accelerated and more sophisticated manufacturing techniques were used to produce the most valuable commodity of clothing. During that time, to look messy and outdated in clothing will give you an impression of being in heavy debt.

Costume books were then made archiving the trends and new innovations in clothing designs. The designs were coming from a variety cultural backgrounds from Spanish, Hungarian, German, Dutch, French and English to name a few. For centuries, tailors and designers were able to acquire more and more complex skills from different sources. And in the 1950's Charles Worth made it a multi-billion pound industry using human models for showcasing his ideas. His designs gained the special attention of the rich people making him one of the richest fashion designer/craftsman in the 19th century.

As we move further with the 21st century, and as things get more and more personalized, people are not totally depending on experts and professionals anymore with regards to how they want to look. The wonders of the internet supplied people with lots of practical information and easy to do personalized fashion such as making your own men's ties, printing shirts, and designing your own clothes in general. What the future holds for the fashion industry is yet to be witnessed.

Trial and Error Fashion

Like any other thing in life, when something does not work, try something else. This should be the mindset of every fashion afficionado. Sticking to one style or fashion trend is stagnation. It never enables you to grow and explore more ideas and new horizons in the fashion world. If you are this, it's probably time to look into something new and try it out.

Most old-fashioned men live with one or two hairstyles during their lifetime. It is not gonna be surprising if your classmate in high school will still recognize you if you meet him/her on the street. Having the same hairstyle for years never allows you to explore the exciting possibilities of fashion. If you are this, you should immediately get a men's fashion magazine and see the vast styles of hair that will probably fit you.

Ties and Shoes. If you have been wearing the same old men's tie and shoes for months, and weirdly pairing a combination of clothes that does not fit, it's time to experiment. Pull out all your clothes in the closet, get a magazine, imitate one style, and customize it according to what you see is best.

Personal styles would always require trial and error. There can never be success if there's no error and some of the most successful fashion designers failed for a terrible number of times before getting the hang of everything.

Dress to Impress

Small things say a lot. Men's ties are probably the smallest piece of clothing a man wears but to be fair, it says a lot about you. Dressing's purpose in life aside from comfort and style is basically to impress. There could be no other reason for this. When a man wears ties that have famous brands such as gucci and armani, a man feels good about himself. It fairly adds up to his self esteem and stature.

In getting a job, men tries to look at his best by impressing the prospect employer of his dress. The suit he is wearing will be one of the determining factor if he's going to make it or not. So men in such cases always tries to look good as much as they can. To give another perspective, during first dates, when a man tries to impress a woman, he does it in ahead of time by choosing the best suit he can have for the date. The first impression that he's gonna have is enormously affected by the way he dresses.

Nonetheless, dressing is always about impressing. It's got everything to do with boosting up self esteem, glamor, prestige, fashion and saying out to the world that I look good.

Get in Action, do away with your shyglances

if you always find yourself shy and not able to get what you want, it's time to take action. Get yourself into action and do away with your shy glances. There are practical things you can do to get closer to the girl you want most.

Do not let yourself suffer, get that emotion out before it burst out. It's not healthy to incubate such strong emotions. Express yourself by following the tips below. Here are some quick rundowns.

1.) Practice your lines. As much as possible, try to figure out the things in your head first. Sit down and relax. reflect and write down notes.

2.) Wear presentable clothes. Men's ties, a good pair of sneakers and a nice suit theme would do. Just make sure to fit them in the occasion.

3.) Be confident. The first two tips mentioned would not work if you have no self confidence. The first step towards doing this is to feel good about yourself. Love yourself. Be one with your desires and extend yourself out as much as you can.

4.) The last but never the least, be sincere. If what you have is a cruel intention, I would not recommend any of these to you.

Eject the heat inside of you, release what ever emotion you might have. I know it's always hard to understand emotions but you have to take the risk to make life worth living.

Fun Facts about ties

There's always something to be happy and sad about. On the other side of the water, let's talk about the fun side of men's ties.

1.) Did you know that the original men who wore ties were the Croatian Military, they use this as a sort of elite symbol.

2.) Tie afficionados buys more than 50 ties per day

3.) A boy's club in England in the early 1900's created the first school tie club to celebrate their victory against their rival school.

4.) Most ties in the industry today are produced in China

5.) In one small town in Eastern europe, boy's who were ties are the coolest and hippest. Before you can wear one, you must go through a series of tests which includes the game of shoot the cookie.

The other uses of Silk Ties

Clothes are by nature multipurpose. They are not just one piece of clothing designed for a fashion statement and self expression, they can also be of practical use in everyday lives. Regarding silk men's ties, the texture is classy and luxurious.

if in the event of not having a jacket and feeling cold, for a moment you can let go of the fashionable neckwear to help ease the discomfort. Cover your neck with the tie. This for sure will help you fight cold. Another practical use of silk ties is, you can make it as a weapon in times of violence. In the filipino martial arts, anything can be used as a weapon, and so it is not the weapon which you must fear but the person who wields it. You can put wrap it with a keys to make it effective in violent confrontations.

So much of that, also, one good use is to try to make it as a rope in times of emergency. The best way to go about it is to make it wet as wet clothes won't easily break....

Early 19th Century Men's Fashion

The fashion of the last days of 18th century passed on many traits to early 19th century men's fashion. As what's normal, the sacque suit was the casual day dress of men. In formal events, men wore tail coat paired with a top hat and a black patent-leather shoes. Knickers, which was called knickboxers before were also common in those days.

After world war 1, particularly in the mid 1920's, baggy pants entered the fashion scene. Many students were wearing baggy pants with an Oxford bags. A few moments later, it was then introduced to the American market which also brought a seemingly not huge impact at the time. After a few years, baggy pants were on its peak, spanning for more than twenty years, it has been one of the coolest and most fashionable clothes in men's fashion(including men's ties)  in the early 19th century.

Most of the fashion trends that were at the American market in the early 1900's came from Europe. Clothing styles were traced by historians and figured out that most of the clothes in the era were coming from Old Scotland and other several parts of eastern Europe.

Do it yourself Tips in managing old clothes

In contrast to the common 'throw the old buy the new' attitude towards clothes, you can make a lot of money in your wrinkled old clothes in the closet. Not needing it does not necessarily suggest that you must throw it, rather think of the global economic crisis as an inspiration to manage your clothes the do-it-yourself way.

You can make a single action noble by making good use of your old clothes. If you happen to have a constricted closet and dresser due to tons of old unused clothes, maybe its time for you to put them out and start the following:

Garage sale

Clothes swapping

Donations (charity organizations or even better to the homeless street people)

Learn sewing (maximize the use of your old clothes by making them as useful floor rags, etc.) Clothes such as men's ties, shirts, pants are a good tool for exploring your sewing prowess.

You see, there are plenty of ways how to make good use of unnecessary stock of clothes. Start doing it right now before piling more rubbish in your home.

On Men's masculinity and Fashion

Men's fashion determines how they carry their sexuality. To some metrosexuals have some feminine types but what the heck, sexuality and men's fashion should not be pinned down to one restricting label. In the contemporary world, men's sexuality is somehow culturally defined on how men cope up with conformity to ultra imposed mass media standards.

If one is not able to compensate, there's gonna be a problem. Not yet concrete, this problem will soon be visible in social and familial relationships. Magazines, online fashion websites, and fashion shows all fuel the definition of men's fashion and sexuality.

The roles projected in television shows and movies strongly imply a standard on men's role in society - how they must look, how they should act, and what a made is made of (mass media standards). Exposed by the media education foundation, masculinity has been oppressing the other sexes more and more as people get drawn and imitate what they saw.

The messages are oftentimes subliminal, it strikes the unconscious wittingly that men aren't even aware that they are exactly doing what they've been told to do. In contrast, men who are more aware of such things tend to somehow propagate a different point of view. a perspective that is gives more freedom in terms of fashion, self expression and above all freedom on one's sexuality.

Men's ties, shoes, blings, cars usually pitch how men should be. An affirmative action of the ego as Bill Maher puts it, men's sexuality in fashion is culturally constructed and not anymore personally defined.

Men's Ties in a nutshell

The history of men's ties tell us that the idea comes from scarf in the early days. In the beginning of the 19th century with the help of some British tie clubs, men's ties eventually spread in the far west and soon to the world. For the last century, ties have been around in men's lives in all fields.

In terms of fashion, ties are intrinsically worthy of attention and innovation. It has served men in his struggles in life. Life magazine shows a lot of nostalgic moments in the past of men wearing several uniquely designed ties. To cut the long story short, ties are integrally part of men's lives.

Furthermore, ties have shown to be loyal to men much like dogs. It has celebrated with them life's greatest and sadest moments.  All men who makes good speeches in public ceremonies wear ties; business plans, implementation and success could not have been better without ties; boy's hard work in school since childhood is celebrated with a tie, and so on...

Ties are indeed, one of the most important things a man can treasure. So make value of your tie collections and stop storing them wrinkled in the dresser.

Hate List Hairstyles

Hate List Hairstyles

By nature, overall style is individualistic. On the good part, it makes a man comfortable expressing oneself in a certain style. However, there are hate list hairstyle men should avoid. Beauty is within but first impression usually begins with the physical.

Let's admit it, fashion is relative and so is impression and attraction. The beauty industry has conditioned society to a one way, uniformed, homogenous look that everyone adheres to. If you are trying to get a good shot on women, you should always look out for the red flag hairstyles women hate. So it's better for you to be aware of the most hated hairstyles of today.

Here's the top of list:

Business in the front, party in the back. Also known as mullet; Emo hairdo, Unmanaged long hair, Comb over, curtains, pony tail, slicked back hair.

If you happen to have any of these, you would not be surprise of its effects. These are mysteriously strange, uncanny, unearthly and creepy haircuts that most women of this age hate.

Nothing to worry about, there's lots of things you can do to improve it. One good tip is to blend it with the latest trend and fashion, just do not look so old school because you will push people away. Women like to feel in touch with the constructed fashion reality, so bring yourself in, wear some good men's tie with a cool hairstyle and get the girl you want.

Choosing the right Men's Tie

There are many points in life where a man is required to wear his best tie. Events like weddings, business meetings, funerals, reunions and many other special occasions. At times, men get anxious on how they will look in such events. It seem that a lot of men still has the dilemma of being confused what to wear given the variety of their tie collection.

Overcome the dilemma of not knowing the right tie for the occasion. Here are some useful tips:

- Lay out all your ties on the bed and select the right color for the occasion. Different colors for different events. Wear funny, childish ties during casual events and normal days and put on those solid coloured serious look when attending business meetings and so on...
- Harmonize the color of the tie with the suit. Be aware of the contrast of colors, this will determine how presentable you look.
- Learn to experiment and mix different ties with shirts. You can do anything you want as long as you do not look fouly and disturbing.

Have the habit to shop for ties from time to time. This will give you more advantage and more variations when special events come. Check out what's in store for you... You can browse online for the latest trends and styles as well as the best and cheapest online men's ties store.

Experimenting on Men's ties

One handicap in choosing the right men's tie is a problem for most men, if not the majority. Men end up spending so much cash yet at the end of the day still look clumsy and thrash. Because of hectic schedules, some men forget about their aesthetics and lose fashion.

This should not be the case especially if you consider ties to be one of the essential parts of
your daily suit. There's actually plenty of reasons to go online and educate oneself on the importance of physical appearance and its impact on social and professional life.

Let's start with men's ties. Have time to review the ties you have and put them on your bed. See what fits for you and set aside the ties you don't feel wearing the most. Pair them with suits of your choice and see how it looks. Try to blend and remix them for several times until you get the hang of what you really want. Once you get things figured out, program them on a weekly basis. Keep on doing this and use more of your creative potential. The styles are limitless
actually. Dressing good with men's ties is living good!
